Teens onQ is a comprehensive video and activities project from WQED Multimedia. It is a teen hosted program and outreach initiative that introduce adolescence to career education. It is designed to appeal to young and older teens from all ethnicity and all socioeconomic backgrounds. Teens on Q is made in a TV-Magazine format, delivering excellent production value with accompanying lesson plans and activities for each episode.
Teens onQ meets local and state needs for innovative solutions to introduce career concepts to students in grade 8 – 12. Each program segment is taped in Pennsylvania to truly reflect the interests and diversity of its young population.
The educational content has been developed in coordination with the PA Department of Labor and Industry and the PA Dept of Education to ensure that all of the information meets PA future workforce needs and adheres to best practices and academic standards.
